Most of the wood is up in the first corner. The only thing left is the beading on the right panel and then finish priming and painting.

Oh, that looks so good! I can't wait to see it all done. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteReally nice work. I'd love to put up wainscoting and plate rail in my dining room someday.
ReplyDeleteLooking good! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see a shot looking down - to see how you worked that return around the curved edge of the door casing. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteDawn: I got all of the moulding for the dining room at Rejuvenation. I'll do another post later with all of the item numbers. (I don't have their catalog with me at work)
ReplyDeleteMonster: I'll take a picture from that angle when I have it painted. All I did was cut the length of the piece so it ends at the centerline of the door casing, cut and glue the return, and then I used a jigsaw to notch out for the casing. It turned out to be the easiest part of putting up that plate rail!
Joe,
ReplyDeleteThis room is really coming together. Looks really nice!
